  • The selection of planetary reducer involves not only the selection of reducer model, but also the selection of motor model, load type, input of key parameters, input of dynamic data and so on. Whether the reducer can be judged by the calculation of these parameters and about 30 different performance indexes related to load, reducer and motor. In the current load and motor environment normal operation, to verify the selected "motor - reducer - load" complete transmission system is safe and reliable, can be put into use.

Therefore, the factors that need to be considered in the selection process are:

  • (1)Selection of motor models: Through data consulting, collected more than 10 manufacturers at home and abroad, more than 2600 motor data, motor specific model selection through the manufacturer, serial number, basic type, special type of four conditions to locate. After the motor is selected, the parameters related to safety check are picked out and the motor characteristic parameters are obtained, such as rated torque T, peak torque Tmax, rated speed n, maximum speed nmax, power P, motor moment of inertia J, etc.

  • (2)Selection of reducer model: For a specific enterprise, collected more than ten series of planetary reducer data, reducer specific model selection through the series, model, transmission ratio of three conditions to locate.

  • (3)Selection of load type: Each load has its corresponding working condition application scope, as well as different special parameters, the corresponding calculation formula is also different. Planetary reducer can be used for general load, turntable load, belt load, gear pair load, rack load, conveyor belt load, ball screw load and other loads.

  • (4)Selection of load movement scheme: The load movement scheme represents the movement state of the load, divided into constant speed operation, triangular operation, trapezoidal operation, their speed / time curve as shown in Figure 1.

  • (5)Dynamic data selection: according to the mode of load movement for linear or rotary motion, select and input different dynamic data, including time t, stroke s, rotational speed n, angular acceleration a and time t, stroke s, speed u, acceleration a two groups.
